The “HKCERT Capture the Flag Challenge 2026” is jointly organised by the Hong Kong Computer Emergency Response Team Coordination Centre (HKCERT), the Hong Kong Productivity Council (HKPC) and Digital Policy Office (DPO). The Cloud Security Alliance Hong Kong & Macau Chapter is a supporting organisation of the activity.
HKCERT CTF 2026 will introduce exciting gamification features, transforming the competition into an immersive cybersecurity adventure quest. Participants can earn points by completing tasks, unlocking achievements, and discovering hidden stages. The competition provides students with an opportunity to experience and overcome cybersecurity challenges in a practical setting. The top 10 teams will qualify for the finals.
Qualifying round will be held on 6-7 November 2026 (24-hour online competition) while the final will be held 7 January 2027 (physical competition in HKCEC).
